The Iron/Weight Gain Optimizer

August 29, 2011

The idea for an online simulator first emerged at a Uniferon partner meeting at the 2010 IPVS conference in Canada and was subsequently developed in association with our Belgian Uniferon partner, Intervet.

Your piglets need iron. But how much?

It is common knowledge that your piglets need iron. But how much will give the best production outcome? The Iron/Weight Gain Optimizer (I/WGO) is the only online simulator making it possible to estimate the potential mean iron need within a litter.

The free and useful tool will show you hands-on why Uniferon is all about clever iron for clever breeders. In a few simple steps, the I/WGO illustrates how to optimally balance the use of iron against targeted production outcome. It is years of science and best practice experiences made easy - with a click of your mouse.

To promote the I/WGO we have initiated an international advertising campaign, which can be seen in prominent industry magazines and web sites. The goal is obviously to attract attention to the optimizer, but also to raise awareness on how the right iron partner with the right knowledge can make a significant and valuable difference - in your daily work.
