Danish company Pharmacosmos continues its expansion.
Latest, the rapidly growing pig production industry in Russia has
gained access to the Danes' Uniferon®, the industry-leading
injectable iron supplement.
The industry-leading injectable iron supplement Uniferon® is
under introduction to the Russian pig producing industry. Apart
from providing Russian pig producers with access to
state-of-the-art injectable iron, the launch represents an
important step for the company behind Uniferon, Danish
pharmaceutical company Pharmacosmos.

opportunity for the pig producers to profit from one of the safest
and most efficient ways of administering iron to newborn pigs,"

Huge interest expected

According to Dr Yury Kovalev, Director General of the National
Union of Swine Breeders in Russia, at the latest EPP Congress the
industrial pig production in Russia is set to continue its massive
growth to an astounding 36.6 million pigs in 2015.

Uniferon is approved in Europe, Asia and North America,
including FDA approval in the United States. Jens Fabricius
underlines that the Russian pig producers now are assured an
injectable iron that adheres to the highest standards of quality,
safety and efficacy:
