• What is Uniferon?

• Uniferon is a high quality injectable iron supplement for piglets containing 200 mg iron dextran pr. ml. Uniferon prevents and treats iron deficiency anaemia, boosts growth and improves health.

• How is Uniferon different from other iron supplements?

• Uniferon is the only injectable iron supplement approved by the medical authorities in Europe and Asia, and by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the US. And it's injected, so it's completely absorbed by the piglet's body. Oral iron supplements require multiple doses to ensure the piglet gets enough iron. Also, Uniferon is approved for injection on day 1 after the piglet's birth, so you can administer the treatment when it suits you.
